Technical information on accreditation
Inspection bodies
An inspection is understood through the object examined, the activity performed and the criteria against which a conclusion is drawn.
What to identify.
- Object and type of inspection.
- Methods, criteria and limits of the activity.
- Responsible body and published scope.
Read these details together with the responsible entity, the status and the conditions of the reference you are consulting.
The scope gives the result its context.
Compare the activity you need with the activities expressly declared in the scope. A general reference or an image of the document does not allow coverage of other activities or locations to be presumed.
How to read a scopeTechnical references and intended use.
The issuing source allows the document and its scope to be consulted. Acceptance for a contract, a tender or a regulation must be checked against the recipient's conditions.
