Supplier evaluation and connection between markets

Global supply chains and suppliers

Buyers and suppliers in distant markets must understand requirements and demonstrate capability without being on site every day.

Questions for decision-makers

  • What does the buyer require?Acceptance criteria should be written before any evaluation.
  • Which evidence can the supplier provide?Documents, records, samples and site observations have different weight.
  • Who evaluates, and with what independence?Evaluators should be competent and free from conflicts with the supplier.
  • What does the result mean?An evaluation report informs a purchasing decision; it is not a certification.

Limits that matter

IAC presents cooperation between markets through defined capabilities and identified providers, not as universal coverage.
